San Diego

Mum had almost a week in San diego for work, so we decided to meet her there for a quick weekend getaway. Thursday/Friday/Saturday. caught the 7AM flight back to Denver and home by noon Sunday. Hard to beleive we crammed in so much in three days.........and there was still tons left that we DIDNT do. (lego land, sea world, etc) Lots of walking, lots of cool things to see and do in a super friendly town. Everyone was great to us, except one guy that told me not to touch him when Luca and I sat down on the 7 bus. Weather was great especially friday for the trip to La Jolla Beach. San Diego Zoo was awesome. We didnt do the Safari park which is supposed to be way cool as well. Little Italy was, well. Little (two blocks) but they did have a BLICK art store which I feel lucky to have shopped in. Luca and I bought a new palette and some new pens. Roz loved it all...until she got tired and we had to carry her. (Luca catching up in weight, but Roz is lanky and can get all sideways on ya quickly) Balboa park and Harbor walk Saturday night to round out the weekend. Good times. Thanks Mum for letting us stay with you.
