Pumkins at 3 weeks

 

Spiced cranberry sauce

Fresh cranberries, aromatics and some kenyan loose leaf tea to spice it up (maybe a little caffeine to counteract the turkey)

This was a test batch. we'll make again to bring to neighbors hosting Thanksgiving this year.

One more week with the kins

Still...mister happy doing quite well. Ms. Monkey turned very evil. (four of the nine had fallen off their perches and now laying, paitiently waiting for final death to come.

She's starting to look a little evil....

or maybe it's just bitterness at being left out on the porch.

I'm melting.....

we're following the degradation of several pumpkins. it's been 1 week since they were in their prime.


Poor boy! 

They call me Q-tip

I'm in the bathroom at Old C's. there's another guy next to me at the urinal and there is a lot of chatter coming from the two stalls.

I hear one guy say " they call me Q-tip, because it's fat on the end and then gets skinny and then fat again".

I turn to the guy next to me and say 'what the hell are they talking about?"

he's like " I don't even want to imagine....."

Then from the stall, we hear: "it's the shape of my turds"


What??
OK, I don't EVEN want to get that descriptive on mine, but whatever.

We are cracking up as we wash our hands, shaking our heads.

As I pass him in the bar, he looks at me with a straight face and says " my friends call me Q-tip"

...and we bust out laughing, again.

Halloween House

I stood up in the loft window wearing my Top Hat and Trench coat. Flashlight under my chin. think I scared a few kids. (two were half way up the walk, saw me, turned around and went to next house....)
