Ponte Vecchio next year?

KB and I are already thinking about doing a GB replica of the Ponte Vecchio next year. a small model (of the model) is in the making this year. how fun would that be??

13 houses Built - 2 locomotives and a partial train

19 confirmed guest parties. KB is shooting for 24 houses so we have a few spare in case of the inevitable disaster. We'll have a few spare passenger cars for those who choose to be a little different (with me) this year.


the party is now bigger than before and we have several people coming for just the party which is cool too. We are running out of room. next year we might have to have it at the gymnasium. :)

JCR: Think that I need to get some harder pencils, so that I can work on line weight. using 2B, 4B, 6B (and hardly touched the 6B it's soft). These are charcoal pencils and they can be messy, but 10 minute sketch is rejuvinating and meditative. Lots of practice ahead to get this guy to look like he's supposed too (nose too wide, face needs to be elongated)

Sunday Times Crossword puzzle

I actually help'd KB get few of today's puzzle. Work out was a bust. too many people there. But in lieu of I did quite a bit of stretching on it. Feels pretty good today. (last night sucked!)

Sabato

KB in the kitchen making sump-in' tasty for dinner tonite. Yard clean up this afternoon. whew. needs another 2-4 h ours out there. No portrait today (cheated on chair and table drawing to get some confidence back since portraits need a lot of work. No workout either,but I have to go tomorrow as it seems like the knee is regressing. Dang!

Today's Workout

Took a day off to rest (and celebrate Halloween). Today, back on the bike but an easy 5 on level 7 and then move the seat up to 8 for a L8 5 minutes. Still stiff though. Trying to get the full bend back by next doc's appoint. long way to go and much work for the weekend.
