did grout, touch up paint over weekend. turned out nice.

Weekend recap
Saturday was a messed up day. Had to work in the AM. KB got to spend some sleeping in time with Roslyn. When i got home, we had lunch, a beer and I was ready for a nap. But we packed up and made a nice (hot) walk to Starbucks for a pickup and some ColdStone. Roslyn and Ben were great on the walk. Ben got to swim in the retention pond and then got a bath. He did that crazy Geli run about the back yard after I rinsed him.
Sunday, KB got to do a 3 miler with Ben and had an altercation at the open space. the same guy that yelled at me about Geli off leash, said something to KB (Ben was running right with her 5 feet away) And...this guy is planting Iris and bird feeders in the open space. KB is composing a nasty gram for him.
I managed to squeeze in a swim and took ben for another walk to park for Chuck it. Overall a good weekend (although we fought about the popcorn later) We roasted beans, beets, zuchini and hamburgers for dinner. Yummy.
The popcorn actually worked quite well. It was a mix of heritage kernels we got at Whole Foods. Used the Good Eats technique on the grill. (KB pointed out that we need to get the superfine salt. Kosher doesn't stick to the popped corn, so it was a little bland.) But, Alton's techique worked great and we had fresh popcorn around the campfire while Roslyn slept.

On the Super Loops
this whole thing was terrifying. The ride, the operator, the creepy carnival in general. But it was a blast and I didn't hurl on the teenagers in front of me (and I thought that I was going to)

Still need to grout, but added some tile around the switch and jbox and the original mirror came back to round it out.
