Afternoon thunderstores. Geli and I are stealing rainwater from the spout. I have 4 buckets filled up as well as two watering cans.

Vidalia sandwiches

The last of the weeks veggies are almost gone. I use the last of the Vidalia onions sauteed down; one time with Fennel, one time with Berbere.

My sandwich was a baguette with (the)lettuce, a little mozzarella, green olives and the onions. Oh the onions.

This was good.

CCTV

China today. We recently got rid of our Dish NEtwork account. If only for the reason that it's summer and we don't watch much TV. A few DVD's so Netflix stays (for now).

I figured it was totally cut off, but we STILL get a few channels. SEVEN shopping networks, MSNBC, NASA today and CCTV.

I'm loving CCTV. China day. Lots on the upcoming Olympics (and KB told me that Jason and MEgan will be going......dang!) Actually...Good for them.

I just feel lucky that we now have enough bonus miles to get to Bangkok next Feb. We might actually book tonite. And if we're lucky, our flights might go thru China. That would be cool. Maybe CCTV is calling me.
