The computer graphics really makes this show interesting. Over all this is well put together. The graphics bring it to life, but it is a simply well produced show. My favorite.

Noodle Bowls

Last night I took a peek in the pantry and came across some Red Curry Paste, coconut milk and some asian noodles.

let's see. (I have to remember becuase i did an alteration on tonites gig) Peanut pol, Onions, broccoli, crimini shrooms, Shrimp, red curry paste, coconut milk, salt and pepper (and a little chili oil to finish)

Tonite? Same noodles. Out of coconut milk (tried yogurt-worked out ok) ginger and garlic, ginger (no broccoli) curry paste in to the mix early, then the shrimp.

I think the coconut milk is essential to get a creamy noodle dish.(or not at all, if you want something sharper)

Maybe I work out something for KB tomorrow night.

The war on mint

The front line moves forward. Yard work slated for Saturday and it was nice. BUT...we got sucked into the war on mint.

Made a big mistake 2 years ago planting it in our flower bed. Today, we found that it metastasized and it's cancerous ways were taking over everything in the bed. We tore apart more than 2/3rds of the bed seeking out it's tentacles. In the Bed, in the weed barrier. Under the weed barrier. UNDER the driveway. We'll probably be fighting it all year. It is insane.

Ants and WD40

We had an ant explosion the other day. they came out in the thousands between the gate and the grape plant.

I sprayed them down with WD40

KB said that all that I did was to lubricate them.
