Happy cupcake to Luca

SO, Luca's number two birthday came and went and it was odd. Mom made a wonderful cake, tons of cupcakes and a bunch of formed sea creature pops. awesome. Roz came home from daycare with a headache and 102+ fever. Yikes Pizza already ordered as we planned on meeting Hazel-Colley's at the last summer Centerra concert. I thought that Roz would rally, but no. so she and mom stayed home. Me and Luca headed down early to meet the band. The band was receptive to kicking off the second set with a Happy Birthday to Luca. Last three songs of 1st set????? high winds, rain and the temp dropped about 15 degrees. Man!! but it managed to clear at intermission so it moved forward (the last time we were here, the band gave up when the wind and rain kicked up and we all got drenched) Out came the box and cake and two candles. Luca didnt quite know what to do with it but the band and crowd DID sing happy birthday to Luca, the wind blew out his candles and we all ate cake. Perfect (almost, just needed roz and mum) he crashed on the way home at 9:00 but it was an odd success of a birthday. Happy Cupcake Luca!
