So, momma odie left for Logan for a few days Sunday afternoon. Left me playing mister mom until she returns. The afternoon was great. Luca still loves the Bjorn and Roslyn wanted to go the "red slides" which are located at the FAR park. the nice thing is that we pass the city park enroute, gives us all a good walking work out. And there is sand unlike our nasty chip bark. ros wore herself out (I was worn out toting luca around for 2 miles) so we all got ready to go to bed early.
then the crying began. Roslyn cranky, Luca frantic, whiny, fever and drooling everywhere. By midnight and he being up every hour since 7:30 I decided to take monday off and deal with them. they eventually made it to Jean's late but it gave me several hours of needed break (luca kept me up almost every hour the entire night....I was wiped)
but when I picked them up at 5:00, both were happy as clams and we went to City park and Lupitas for a burrito picnic.
eiher the extra fun or the bean burrito worked magic as BOTH were great all the way home, BOTH went to bed easily. BOTH slept almost the entire night (luca did his usual midnight wake up for milk, but fell back asleep when I went to make it)
Today, I'm feeling it though.
Momma Odie be home late tonite, so we should be back on regular schedule.
