After a grueling 2 day journey, kris made it to Nairobi. and she calls just to say she's having wine with some guy in the hotel bar. hmmmm Actually, it's Jason; our bud from here. Not much news after that except that a short first day field trip yeilded some amazing bird life, a few gazelles and impala, not far from the city itself.
Google earth is pretty cool way of looking around tracking her adventures. She IS planning a raft trip down the Nile from Lake Victoria-once they make it to Kisumu. Ok, now I'm REALLY envious!!
